Carol Rowe from the Bush Dance & Music Club of Bendigo writes: "As there may be several dances which are unfamiliar to the travellers, it wouldn't hurt to stress that it is a friendly Ball, and they can follow other couples in the couple dances, and that any uncertain dancers will be very welcome to join the sets, as side couples if not sure of the figures. Fun, fun, fun is the order of the day, isn't it?"

Yarrawonga on the beautiful Murray River, lovely at any time of year.
Echuca with it's historic wharf area, paddle steamers and historic buildings.
Bendigo talking tram, gold mine, Chinese museum, gardens, gold rush era buildings, and Bendigo pottery kilns.
Kerang the home of the Gay Charmers old time dance band. Their pianist Stuart Simms has offered to arrange a re-run of his famous Gay Charmers 50th Anniversary coach tour of the Kerang Lakes Area. Then, a meal at a club and if we have the numbers, a dance at the Lake Charm Hall is a distinct possibility.
Beechworth is in the Victorian high country with mountain scenery, gold rush era buildings, and is widely known for its excellent bakeries.

Text might be best, as we will be in and out of range.
UHF CB Radio:
We will be monitoring channels 5 (emergency), 18 (caravans) and 40 (trucks), and sending on channel 18.
Please let us know if you have UHF CB Radio. We (Barbara & Lance) purchased a Uniden UH720SX-NB handheld radio for $118 and are very pleased with it. You can talk to caravans and trucks, and call for help in an emergency.
We will be checking emails regularly during the trip - dance(at)mfs(dot)org(dot)au
