Lakesea Park is between Durras Lake and the sea - http://www.lakesea.com.au/

Follow the road to South Durras then turn left into Durras Lake Road and the park is at the end of Durras Lake Road (just past Lakeside Drive if you need a crossing for your GPS.)

The Park have offered us the use of their cinema room. This is a large flat carpeted room with chairs that can be moved to the perimeter. Bring your slidy shoes for dancing on short-pile carpet.

There is also a large new indoor camp kitchen with two big bbq plates and tables and chairs for about 30.

There are gumtrees, kangaroos, birds, and the lake and the sea for walking and relaxing.

As-new cabins at a group price of $125 per cabin per night, even lower than the normal low rate, facing the lake each with a fire outside overlooked by a table and chairs on their verandah. You can purchase wood for about $10 per barrow load.

The cabins each have one double room and one twin room, with a sofa bed in the lounge. http://www.lakesea.com.au/accommodation/lakeside/

You will need to bring:

Linen if you are using the twin beds, maybe an extra blanket since it is June, supper to share on Friday night, breakfasts and lunches, your own BBQ meat plus salad or dessert to share on Saturday night, dancing shoes and instruments, drinks.

The rough plan is:

Flex off Friday arvo if you can, about 2 hours drive to South Durras, meet in Camp Kitchen for supper after tea, from 7:30pm onwards.

Saturday walk along the beach or in Murramarang National Park, or relax by the sea.

Saturday night - meet at Camp Kitchen for pre-dinner BYO drinks and nibbles at 5PM then dinner and dancing in the Cinema until 9:30pm when they lock up the Cinema.

Sunday 10AM checkout then fish & chip lunch at Batemans Bay before heading for home.

All subject to spontaneous change following the wisdom of the crowd, as always.

You will need to contact the park directly to book at the special price, NOT via the web booking form. Just quote "The Bush Dancers Group".

You will need to secure your booking with a credit card, or deposit by direct transfer, payin at Westpac, or cheque.

If you are a single, please feel free to organise your own singles cabin and let Barbara know if you have any spare spaces, or contact Barbara if you would like to be allocated to a singles cabin. Barbara will allocate a maximum of 3 per cabin. We suggest that the cabin cost be shared per room, so if you have two folk sharing a room and one in a room to themselves, that would be one quarter, one quarter and one half share of the cabin cost. Or as mutually agreed within your cabin. Each cabin will pay their own account to the park.

If you wish to book a different accommodation option, please contact the park. The park has advised that there would be no need to book powered campsites that time of year - there will be plenty available - but of course you can if you wish.

Lakesea Park have written:

"The pricing will be the same as last year at $130.00/cabin/night twin share (this covers 2 people in each cabin). Any additional people staying in any of our cabins are $25 per adult / night or $15 per child / night (children under 2 years are free) Everything will run the same as previous years.Your group can individually confirm their cabin by contacting us directly. One nights charge is required to hold each cabin($130.00) We will again have a pancake breakfast morning for the group free of charge
